Compensation is available for certain worker positions, but these are limited! Reserve yours now!

There will be 3 separate one-day tournaments (Friday; Saturday; Sunday)
All classes will be unlimited.

Classes Offered:

Regular
Multibreed
Open
Veterans
CanAm (Sunday only ... teams must qualify)
CanAm Multibreed (Sunday Only … teams must qualify)

Entry Fee: Each class will be $100/Team each day

Team names may not change from day to day.

Regular & Multibreed Class

Expect 4 races per day.
The number of entries we receive may make it necessary to slightly alter our format.
Only Regular entries are eligible for invitation to the CanAm class.
Only Multibreed entries are eligible for invitation to the CanAm Multibreed class.
The racing schedule(s) will be created without regard to teams which may run dogs in multiple classes.

Open & Veterans Class

Our goal is 4 races per day.
Teams are NOT eligible for invitation into the CanAm or CanAm Multibreed class.
The racing schedule(s) will be created without regard to teams that may run dogs in multiple classes.

Friday:

Regular and Multibreed:
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on submitted seed times.
♦ Each 5-team division will run a single round robin.

Open and Veterans
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on submitted seed times.
♦ Each division will run a single round robin.

Saturday:

Semi-Finals Regular and Semi-Finals Multibreed
♦ Teams will be seeded into divisions based on submitted seed times
♦ Divisions will be divided into smaller sub-divisions which will be pyramid seeded.
♦ Each sub-division will run a single round robin 3 of 5.
♦ There will be no breakout.
♦ A teams’ best time during Friday or Saturday racing will serve as the seed time for Sunday’s tournament.

Open and Veterans
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on submitted seed times.
♦ Each division will run a single round robin.

Sunday:

Regular and Multibreed teams may not enter the Sunday tournament without having also entered Saturday's tournament. This does NOT apply to Open or Veterans classes.

CanAm Class:
♦ The fastest 20% of teams from Friday and Saturday’s Regular class will be invited to compete in the
CanAm Class not to exceed 20 teams.
♦ All teams must be entered in the Regular Class at the time of closing.
♦ The CanAm class will run a single elimination only.
♦ Teams in the CanAm class MAY compete in the Regular class on Sunday
♦ Teams in the CanAm class MAY convert their Regular entry to this class.
♦ If a team chooses to run in the CanAm class and the Regular Class, the $100 CanAm Class entry fee
is due one (1) hour after invitations are announced.
♦ NAFA reserves the right to alter the number of teams invited to the CanAm class in order to ensure
competitive racing.
CanAm Multibreed Class
♦ Format will be announced after the tournament closes.
♦ All teams must be entered in the Multibreed Class at the time of closing.
Finals Regular
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on fastest time on Saturday.
♦ Each 5-team division will run a single round robin 3 of 5.
♦ A single breakout will exclude the team from divisional placement.
♦ Each division winner will receive NAFA CanAm Classic Champion Awards.
Finals Multibreed
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on fastest time on Saturday.
♦ Each 5-team division will run a single round robin 3 of 5.
♦ A single breakout will exclude the team from divisional placement.
♦ Each division winner will receive NAFA CanAm Classic Champion Awards.
Open-Veterans
♦ Teams will be separated to the best of our ability into 5-team divisions based on submitted seed times.
♦ Each division will run a single round robin.
 

Dogs:

Lineups may be changed from day to day.
Dogs may NOT be listed on more than 2 timesheets per day.
Dogs may NOT be listed on more than 1 timesheet within a class each day.
All other NAFA rules apply.
NAFA reserves the right to make changes to these conditions.
