What's the Callenge....?

Form a team of 3 dogs and 3 handlers to compete in 5 classes in which your team accumulates points. Highest score after 5 classes wins the Championship Title. You may also enter individually and have your name in a draw for a team.

Gamblers (Time gamble rather than distance)
Standard (no table)
Snooker
Jumpers (with weaves)
3 Dog Relay
*Please Note: Teams must consist of at least 2 of the same jump height. Specials, Veterans and Regular dogs CAN be on the same team. Teams must have 3 different handlers.

The TEAM CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS will be awarded some great prizes courtesy of Sasha's Blend and McCann Professional Dog Trainers. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 placements. Other awards include Best Dressed Team, Best Team Name, and more... so be creative!

Rules of McCann Team Challenge
Each team must consist of 3 dogs and 3 different handlers. The same handler may not run 2 dogs on the same team (because of the 3 dog relay)
If you do not have a team, you may enter individually and a team will be drawn for you.
Each team must have at least 2 dogs that jump the same height. You can mix Specails, Veterans and Regular dogs. For example, a team can consist of a 16" regular, 16" Special and 26" Regular dog.
All dogs must compete in all 5 classes to receive points
All courses will be judged with Masters rules (any dog is eligible to enter, even if they are not in Masters at Sanctioned events)
The scoring for the event will be provided in a handout before the competition begins (for an example, see scoring for the USDAA DAM event)

Details About the Competition

LUNCH - A lunch (which includes a hot item, salad, dessert and beverage) will be offered to purchase ahead of time or the day of competition. An option to purchase lunch in advanced can be found on your entry form.
Pre-ordered Lunch Tickets - $8.00

Specialty awards will be given out at lunch time.

CRATING & GROUNDS - Indoor crating will be available in our heated arena. Unless competing in the ring or using the warm up jumps, DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH and UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES for the safety and enjoyment of everyone. Feel free to enjoy our fields, but please clean up after your dogs. Pooper Scoopers, baggies and garbage cans can be found around the property.

ELIGIBILITY & MEASURING
- Dogs 18 months and over are eligible to compete in the McCann Team Challenge. AT check in, please show a copy of a height card (AAC, USDAA, etc.) to verify your dogs jump height. You are welcome to jump your dog higher than what is shown on the height card. If your dog does not have a card, please be prepared to have your dog measured. Your dog does not have to be registered with any organization to compete in this competition.

SMOKING - No smoking on the McCann property, please.

SPONSORS - Sashas Blend will be joining us for the day to help promote the "Team" aspect of agility. Although this event is a team effort with other handlers, don't forget how important it is to keep the most important part of your team (your dog) at their absolute best! Please visit the Sashas Blend table to learn more about their line of products for "complete joint health." All of the McCann dogs have been using Sashas Blend supplement and both the humans and dogs love it! Sashas Blend will be providing awards for the top 5 teams.
