E N T R Y I N F O R M A T I O N

ENTRY FEE: is $70.00 Cdn or $63.00 US, and is payable to "Thunder Bay Kennel & Training Club Inc".

LISTING FEE: $8.40 Cdn or $7.50 US. Note: Dogs eligible for a CKC or ERN number, but who do not
yet have their number, are required to pay the listing fee ($8.00 + GST), per test/trial.
U.S. Exhibitors: US rates are for US check or cash payment only. Please do not mark US cheques
"Payable in Canadian Funds" or "At Par", as the banks will not process them. We accept Bank drafts
or Money orders payable in Canadian funds.

Entries must be mailed or sent by courier to the postal address of the Test Secretary. Faxed, emailed,
or hand delivered entries will not be accepted. Payment must accompany each entry.

EACH ENTRY must be on the official CKC entry form and must be sent in a separate envelope.

Entries received before the entry acceptance date will be returned.

Entries submitted by any other means or to any other location than noted above will not be accepted.

An NSF cheque will be subject to a $20.00 service charge. The Entry fee plus the NSF service charge
must be paid in cash prior to test.

A TD title is a prerequisite for entering a UTD test or a TDX test.

A UTD title is a prerequisite for entering a UTDX test.

Certification is NOT required to enter a Canadian TD test

Once the trial limit has been reached, the trial will be considered full. All remaining entries will be
assigned a position on an 'Alternate List' in the order received. The Test Secretary will notify all
entrants of their acceptance into the trial or of their position on the Alternate List.

 

MEETING PLACE AND DRAW FOR TRACK ORDER: Each day we will meet at Tim Horton’s
at the corner of Oliver Road and Golf Links Road - for Breakfast and the day's Draw for Tracks.

Saturday, May 23rd:
Arrive early for Breakfast! Saturday Draw at 7:00 am. Caravan to first track at about 7:15 am.

Sunday, May 24th: -
Arrive early for Breakfast! Sunday Draw at 7:30 am. Caravan to first track at about 7:45 am.
Any primary entrant(s) who is absent at the assigned draw time will forfeit his/her position to the
first Alternate present. Please be sure to arrive on time for your draw.

BITCHES IN SEASON: Bitches in season may compete, however they will run the first or last
track, according to the judge’s decision. Please advise the Test Secretary immediately upon
arrival at the meeting place, or earlier if possible.

AWARDS AND LUNCHEON: TBK&TC will award a Rosette and Medallion for each passing
track: Time(s) to be announced. (Bring your camera for a photo with the judge).

PLEASE JOIN US for an informal lunch on Sunday (Location TBA), where everyone may enjoy
each other’s company after all the tracking is completed. (Time TBA: approx 2:00 pm).

ALTERNATES: Alternates are encouraged to attend the draw in case there is a withdrawal or
no-show of a confirmed entrant. Should someone withdraw at any time prior to closing,
alternates will be informed in order of their rank on the Alternate List as soon as possible, to allow
them time to prepare for the trial.

INDIGNITIES: Section 14.7 Tracking Rules: "It shall be the duty and obligation of the test-giving
club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event held under these
rules, is not subject to indignities of any kind." The Tracking Test Committee Chair shall promptly
report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation".

VOLUNTEERS WANTED! Anyone interested in laying tracks, cross tracks, or in assisting the
committee with the test, this is a great learning experience, and we'd love to hear from you !
Spectators are also welcome and encouraged to attend: We will have a Gallery leader to provide
directions on following the caravan (convoy) and where the tracks may be observed from.
