In London, Ontario June 26-28 2009 the International Food Festival will be held in Victoria Park. The International Food Festival is open to children of all ages and their parents, and has a history of drawing crowds upwards of 100,000 people.
We have been given the rare opportunity to bring the new and exciting sport of DockDogs to this event. This is a relatively new dog sport in Canada, although it is one of the fastest growing sports in North America. DockDogs has a reputation for drawing huge crowds and made several appearances at some great venues in the past (Spring Cottage Life Show, Woofstock, Toronto Home Show). In addition, DockDogs has the ability to capture audiences when featured on television and newspapers, in 2009 Ontario DockDogs appeared on Rogers Television, CHCH news, as well as articles in newspapers such as the Toronto Star.
DockDogs is a fun family sport that brings a smile to the faces of young and old as they watch dogs leap wildly into the 27,000 gallon splash pool. This sport is unique in the dog sport world as we invite anyone in attendance to bring their dog and try their luck on the dock, who knows, YOUR dog may be the next DockDogs superstar.
Currently we are looking for one or more companies who would like the opportunity to become title sponsors and have their name attached to this great sport as well as to a great cause. Title sponsors will receive prime banner locations on the dock which is six feet high and is the focal point of the exhibition.
The International Food Festival has donated the valuable space that the DockDogs event requires (it’s a huge set-up stretching over 100 feet long and 30 feet wide) We are currently looking for local sponsors to come on board to offset some of the cost related to bringing this event to our city. There is considerable cost involved in the rental of the unit which includes sound systems and all the equipment needed to run a DockDogs event.
Ideally we are looking for one large title sponsor for the event. The cost of this great sponsorship opportunity is $2500. There are some great perks involved with becoming a DockDogs sponsor. For your sponsorship dollars you will receive:
• Sponsor link on our club website www.ontariodockdogs.com
• Banner on the competition dock (sponsor must provide)
• Product placement spots hourly via onsite announcements
• Booth space at the event
• Product placement by way of flyers/giveaways to competitors
• Sponsor logo included on ALL promotional literature (we create for you)
• CD of images from the event provided to sponsor
• Sponsor mentions on all television and newspaper interviews
