Competitive Agility Training

What is Competitive Agility?
Competitive classes focus on teaching agility with the goal of competing in trials. Drills and methods will be geared towards safety, consistency and success in trialing. Please see the Recreational Agility & Flyball schedule if you are interested in introducing your dogs to agility and flyball for fun and exercise.

BEGINNER AGILITY - Learning the Obstacles: Dogs will learn how to perform each of the obstacles to competition standards and will work some simple sequences. This course is for people to have fun and exercise with their dogs while laying the foundations for agility competition.

ADVANCED AGILITY - Learning the Skills:Students will learn handling maneuvers, reliable contact training, reduction of weave pole aids, course running skills, distance work and other skills that will prepare them for competition.

AGILITY TRIAL PREP - Preparing for Trials:Preparation for trialing using drills and courses. Handlers will also be introduced to all of the agility games including Gamblers, Snooker, Steeplechase, Jumpers and Team Relay. This course is also intended to be a maintenance course for students already completing.
