Novice Canine Freestyle Clinic with Melissa Vig

Who doesn’t like teaching dogs tricks? Who doesn’t enjoy be-bopping to some music
Join Melissa in a 2 part series and put them both together.

Saturday March 6, 2010/ Saturday April 3, 2010 at Tamsu Learning Center

8:30 am – 12:30 pm – Novice Dogs and Handlers

Limit to 8 dogs

Cost $250 – Working / $125 - Audit

Join Melissa in the Novice day of trick training to get you going.
These dogs do not have a lengthy resume in the trick department. They may be young or just uneducated.  They have a good connection with their handlers and are eager to learn in a busy setting.

¾ of the day will be devoted to training foundation tricks, if there is a trick your dog may already know, Melissa will spice it up and create a different spin on it!

Make sure you bring lots of dog cookies, for every trick there’s got to be a treat!

The last part of the first day will be about music selection so that when you return in April, Melissa can help you create a routine!

Saturday, April 3, 2010

8:30 am – 12:30 pm - Novice Level – Show time

When you return in April, you will have done all your homework and the dogs will be brilliant at all their “Novice” tricks.

½ of this day will be learning some more advanced tricks and ½ of the day will be looking at your music choice and putting your tricks to a routine.
