I will be teaching at 3 locations starting this week...

K9 Country Inn up in Beeton 45 minutes north of Toronto I will train DockDogs ,Dog Sport Foundations, Agility, Flyball and Disc

This Schedule is in the making!  The Plans are to be up there Tuesdays, Wednesdays and occasional Fridays and Weekends with the addition of some special weekends of Agility Fun Matches, Fun Jumps and Special Events!  If you haven't been to K9 Country Inn...we have a beautiful facility with fenced in rings and play areas for agility and disc in the georgeous country, with a  40 ft Pool and Dock,  and are one of the First Canadian Training Facilities for DockJumping...I started in DockDogs back in 2006, and have worked, trained and competed in Dockdogs with great success...if you visit my website, you will see some of our accomplishments!  I'm excited to get 2 new puppies doing the sport this season as well!  Tuesday's will be geared to Private or Daytime Classes for any of the above sports with Classes for Agility and Flyball starting as early as 5 through the evening.  Wednesdays the days will be the same with Dock Jumping classes starting at 5 through the evening.  Friday's will be geared to open practise and Fun Nights!  Weekends will be posted! There's 2 dates you should keep available...our Open House on May 22 & 23rd, and a Special DockDogs event on June 5 & 6! www.k-9countryinn.com

Puppy People in Scarborough classes go for one more session then start back up in November, there I teach Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Agility with the addition of weekend Puppy and Dog Manner classes.  http://www.puppypeople.com/schedule.php

And the new All About Dogs location here in Toronto on Thursday evenings. http://www.allaboutdogs.ca/

Classes at All About dogs with myself will be Dog Sport Foundations (7-8) this class will cover what I think is very important to building that bond to play any game: Crate Games / It's Yer Choice / Building Toy and Food Drive / Motivational Games which include sit, down and stand for Startline and Stays / Self Control / Targeting / Retrieving / Recalls /  Rearend and Body awareness and that very important Release Word!

The second class will be Foundational Skills for Agility (8-9) this class will build on your Dog Sport Foundation Skills with the addition of Shadow handling / Distractions / Tunnel Speed / Startline Behavior / More Targeting with Planks / One Jump Work / Jump Grids / Basic Handling Skills / Handling Sequences / 2x2 Weave Pole Method / Independant Equipment Development.

The Third class...well... FLYBALL (9-10) that crazy Doggie Drag Racing Game!  If you haven't seen it, make sure to head to the All About Pets Show this Easter Weekend to see these Dogs love there game!  Not to forget about the handlers!  In this class you will learn...or your dog!  The Equipment used in flyball / Building a Fun Interactive Play Relationship / Restrained Recalls / Chase Recalls / Ball Retrieve / Tugging with Self Control / Proper Swimmer's Turn / Jumping and Running / Recalls with Distractions / Putting all the peices together!

There are also Many other choices of classes at all locations!

I do also want to mention that for any of you inquiring about Private Sessions, these can also be arranged at your Home, a park, and at any of the 3 locations...prices will differ based on where and rental fees.

I also have a RuffSport training Group on Facebook, as well, there's specific Facebook pages for K9 country Inn and All About dogs to keep you update on happennings whether Weekend or Mini Workshops, Mini class sessions and Special Events.  This is where I like to post things to all!  This is much easier than single emails and maybe somewhere to share training questions and stories!

Well, here's to 2010!  It's going to be a busy year for Dog Sports and the continued growth on Training!
