Contact Training - Sunday, February 27th, 2011
- Improving & proofing your dogs nose tap/2on-2off behaviour
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Fees: $80 + HST for a Working Spot, $40 + HST for an Audit Spot
Improve your stop contact behaviour by building better consistence, more independence and reliability both in training and trialing. Also, learn about how to proof your training to be sure that you have great contacts that last - even after years of trialing!

Agility Foundation Workshop - Sunday, February 27th, 2011
*Young dogs are welcome as long as they can listen well in a group environment and have some basic obedience skills (I.e. - reliable off-leash recall under distractions)
- 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm - All skills except weaves (length of time may change)
- Fees: $60 + HST for a Working Spot, $30 + HST for an Audit Spot
- 2:30 - 3:30 - Basics of 2x2 weaves (for dogs over 10 months)
- Fees: $40 + HST for a Working Spot, $20 + HST for an Audit Spot
This workshop will concentrate on learning foundation training for competitive agility. Learn about proper jumping skills, teaching stop contacts (nose tap or 2on-2off), teeter totter familiarization and handling skills (flatwork).
Dogs over 10 months are welcome to participate in the 2nd focus of the workshop, 2x2 weaves. Learn about the basics of the 2x2 weaving method. To teach this method to your dog, it is helpful for them to have a reliable retrieve and off-leash recall.
