In this first year of the Canadian Disc Dog Derby, two Derby’s may be held in each designated region. These regions have been designated based on canine disc activity in those regions: 1. Eastern Ontario (Ottawa area) 2. Quebec 3. Southern Ontario 4. Alberta
With summer just around the corner, it’s almost time to start planning your summer vacation. While many people like to book their dog into a kennel or have them stay with a friend during their vacation, many people also opt to take their dog with them on their summer holiday.
If your dog is conscious: 1. Sweep the mouth. Take care not to get bitten, try to
a couple of heat related emergencies that all dog owners (ESPECIALLY those involved in high activity dog sports) should be aware of. Remember after initial care has been provided in case of an emergency you MUST contact your veterinarian for advice on further treatment.
