Crating Update for 2009 Ontario Agility Regionals

With the addition of an area of individual shade tents, we have decided to simply offer access to the covered crating area on a first come/first serve basis. On arrival at the 2009 AAC Ontario Regionals venue, you will have a choice of setting up your own personal shade tent in the designated area OR selecting a slot in the covered crating area. These covered crating spaces will still be 7’ x 7’, and there will be approximately 180 spaces available. Please note that staking is NOT permitted in the covered crating area due to underground utilities throughout the area. Regardless of which option you chose, you will be required to unload your gear at one of the numerous designated unloading zones and then park your vehicle(s) in the Eastern Pasture parking lot.

For people arriving in RVs, there will be a designated RV parking area in the forefront of the Parking area.

The organizing committee will be providing communal shade tents ringside, for competitors preparing for their runs. For people running multiple dogs, temporary crating space will be made for you under those tents, during your warm-up and runs.

Competitors may begin arriving after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28th. We understand this has been a bit of a rollercoaster for everyone, but believe that we have arrived at an effective and convenient resolution for the majority of competitors.

Please note that questions regarding the site should be directed to: aacont_regionals@yahoo.ca AND accommodations questions should continue to be directed to Josee, at: 2009.ottawa.accomodations@gmail.com.

The crating process, any changes and/or other additional information will be communicated through the event website.

Thank you for your interest as planning continues! We are looking forward to seeing you in May!!
