This past weekend a couple of us from Ontario Dog Sports had the opportunity to attend the open house at the K-9 Country Inn in Cookstown. The facility features the only sanctioned Dockdogs® training area in Ontario and also offers a lot more.

Instructed by an RVT, this course is designed to give the pet lover the necessary information and skill required to stabilize an injured animal until qualified veterinary care is accessed. Emphasis is placed on the prevention of illness and injury, the importance of early veterinary care and the appropriate restraining of an injured animal.
